Sicily is one of the most sought-after destinations in the Mediterranean, thanks to its extraordinary combination of scenic beauty, cultural heritage, traditions, and top-quality food and wine products.
In this context, the promotion of sustainable nautical tourism and the spread of electric recreational boating emerge as key strategies for enhancing the territory while respecting the environment and local identity.
On Wednesday, July 9th, the event “Flavors of Sicily from the Sea – Food, Wine, and Sustainable Nautical Tourism” will explore these themes with an institutional event and round table discussion (10:00 AM, Sicilian Regional Assembly, Piazza del Parlamento 1, Sala Pio La Torre), followed by a lunch break with a tasting of local products at Ristorante Kanaris, inside Hotel Giardino Inglese (1:00 PM, Via Libertà 63), and “Flavors from the Sea”, a demonstration event where small inflatable electric X-FUN boats will be on display to the public (5:00 PM, Porticciolo dell’Acquasanta).
